Clemson University will host a live, interactive webcast on the presidential race Thursday, September 29, 7:00 p.m. at the Watt Family Innovation Center. Clemson experts will discuss everything from the temperature of the campaigns to national and international issues that may impact the outcome of the race. The webcast’s moderators are TV news anchor & reporter and Clemson Ph.D. student Charmayne Brown and Clemson News Now senior student correspondent Katie Davidson. Dr. Lori Pindar, from the department of communication, will serve as media analyst and Brandon Boatwright, director of the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences Social Media Listening Center (SMLC), will provide data from the SMLC. Clemson media relations multimedia journalists, Margaret Chase and Natalie Johnson will produce special reports on some of the issues facing the nation. Students, faculty, staff are encouraged to attend the live webcast and viewers may submit questions and comments via Twitter using the #thepeoplespeakcu.
