Corey Benson is a mechanical engineering student that completed an eight-month co-op rotation in Munich, Germany. Mr. Benson will be discussing how his co-op with BMW out of Spartanburg, SC, transitioned into a position at the Munich facility. The differences in work atmospheres between the U.S. and Germany, culture, finding housing, transportation, position descriptions, and the application process will all be addressed during the presentation. Time will also be dedicated to describe BMW plants and research facilities located in other countries such as China, Austria, Africa, and Mexico.
