STEAM is quickly catching on as the “new trend” in Education.  However, what if this teaching approach could be used to increase diversity in STEM fields?  Dr. Quigley is examining just that by connecting STEAM to Service Learning as a way for students to explore their communities.  In this presentation, Dr. Quigley will describe STEAM, the connections to diversity, and how STEAM and Service Learning are a natural fit.
