Jonathan Skinner, a nationally recognized health-care economist, will speak Nov. 4 at Clemson University on the U.S. health care system and keeping it affordable without stifling economic growth.
Skinner, a Dartmouth professor of economics, is speaking at Clemson as part of The Big Ideas about Information Lecture Series, sponsored by the Information Economy Project. The Nov. 4 event, from 5:30-7 p.m. in 301 Kinard Hall, is free and open to the public.

Skinner is a professor of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and of the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice.
