Freeman Hrabowski presents “Pursuing the Dream: A 50-Year Perspective on Broadening Participation in American Higher Education.” Recently named by President Obama to chair the newly created President’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for African Americans, Hrabowski is recognized nationally as a top academic leader. He also chaired the National Academies’ committee that produced the recent report “Expanding Underrepresented Minority Participation: American’s Science and Technology Talent at the Crossroads.”
