Renowned Harvard Professor Speaks At Clemson

Clemson University’s College of Business and Behavioral Science presented an introduction to the course, Being a Leader with renowned Harvard Professor of Business Michael Jensen. Jensen, Jesse Isidor Straus Professor of Business Administration Emeritus at Harvard Business School, offers a short presentation emphasizing how being a leader and effective exercise of leadership not only leads to organizational success but to a high quality personal life.

Following the presentation there was an interactive panel discussion focusing on Jensen and his colleagues’ 11 years of research and course development. The group’s innovative approach provides a foundation for leadership built on authenticity, integrity, and committing to something bigger than oneself.

Jensen was joined by colleagues Jeri Echeverria, Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer, California State University System (ret.); and Bobby McCormick, Dean of Clemson University’s College of Business and Behavioral Sciences. Jensen previewed this game-changing leadership course that Clemson is offering in June of 2016. The course at Clemson is open to local companies on a limited basis and is the only time it will be offered in North America in 2016.
